Family Tree Introduction by Tammy
I created this family tree and memorial site because I believe our history matters, not just to remember those who came before, but to give future generations a clear map of how we’re all connected. This is the heart of genealogy: preserving knowledge for those who will one day care about it.
I was raised by my paternal grandparents. My grandfather was a quiet man, gentle but passive. My grandmother, by contrast, was verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive. Together with my father, she forced my mother out of the home and away from both me and my brother. Years later, my father admitted what they had done, but by then, the damage had already been done.
I still carry love for my relatives (living/deceased) in a quiet, deep way. There are some fond memories of all my relatives that I carry with me. But love and some fond memories doesn’t mean I owe them silence or performance. I’m not religious, but I live by values. I’m not perfect, just honest. And that’s enough. Creating this site has been part of reclaiming my voice, my truth, and my peace.

About My Use of AI Here and Elsewhere
I rely on AI in two main ways: as a writing partner for my genealogy project and as an analytical second set of eyes when examining human behavior.
In my family history research, I write individual biographies for the people in my tree. I use AI as an editing and organizational tool to help structure information, improve clarity, and clean up my own drafts. The family histories and biographical material are based on historical and genealogical records, family information, and my own memories and firsthand experiences. The perspectives, interpretations, and final decisions are entirely my own, and I carefully review and approve everything before it is published.
Outside of genealogy writing, I also find AI useful for making sense of real-world human behavior. Although I read extensively about psychology and human behavior on my own, AI serves as a real-time analytical supplement. It helps me break down manipulative behavior, emotional mind games, recurring interpersonal patterns, and difficult dynamics in a more structured way.
I do not use AI as a substitute for my own judgment, memories, research, or conclusions. I use it as a tool for organizing information, examining patterns, and putting thoughts into clearer language while retaining full responsibility for what I ultimately write and publish.
