– Timmy had one child (Laura Beth). Amy, Tina, and Jeffery were his stepchildren.
Timmy died in a head-on collision on December 14, 2004, in Opelika, Lee County, Alabama, on Hwy 51 between Beauregard and the city limits. The cause is unknown. Toxicology tests showed no drugs, medication, or alcohol in his system.
Personal Note:
I am Timmy’s only full sibling and the last surviving member of our family of four: me, Timmy, Van Dow Stafford, and Ethel (Biggs) Stafford.
Timmy had one daughter, Laura Beth Stafford, who was 15 years old when he passed. He had no biological grandchildren but was a step-grandfather to Amy, Tina, and Jeffery’s children.
We lived in Tennessee, then Franklin, Kentucky, and finally Gainesboro, Tennessee, to be closer to our great-grandmother and our grandfather’s sister. Our great-grandfather, Woody C. Biggs, also lived with us until his death.
